Seminars

from 2011 Conference

Everett Julyan: Everything Changes but You

Life = change. God is in the process of changing everything for the better - including us. But how? Should we "let go and let God?" Or "make every effort"? How should we understand and respond when change is required but just doesn't happen? When does patience become compromise? And how can we help others, when we can barely help ourselves?

Clive Parnell: Come Dine with Me

"It is easier to serve than commune"  Charles Spurgeon. In a culture where the "I" is promoted in lifestyle,  "Ipod", "iphone" and "Ipad" how do we commune with God and others. With an emphasis on "Me, myself and I"  are we becoming more like Christ or more like our culture? Is it possible that we are too busy serving and not spending enough time communing with God and others? It is important for us to take time with Christ and to taste and see that he is good. It can be easy to snack on fast food sound bites, come and explore how to dine with Christ.

Mark & Carmella Batluck: Overcoming Fear in Evangelism

For most of us, fear is the main obstacle to sharing the gospel.  What are we afraid of and how does this fear control us?  This seminar will discuss our fears and address them biblically in an effort to help us overcome anxiety and share the gospel more freely.  Whether you have never shared your faith or have been doing so for years, this seminar is for anyone who wants emotional freedom in sharing the gospel.
